Digitally certified translation
On 1 January 2021, new legislation came into effect in the Czech Republic, Act No. 354/2019 Coll. on Court Interpreters and Court Translators, as amended by Act No.166/2020 Coll., which allows for digital certification of court translations.
This is the second year that I have provided this option and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. The translation workflow is simplified to a large extent. We exchange everything electronically. This eliminates the need to hand over documents in person or to send them by postal services.
The client receives the translation with express delivery and can then dispose of it as they like, share it, forward it, and make unlimited copies.
As this website goes public, my record number in the court interpreter's logbook is 1820.
That is how many clients or jobs I have completed without a single complaint.
If you require a translation urgently, I can provide an electronic version, which you will receive immediately, and can send the printed documents via postal service as soon as possible, subject to availability of the postal service.
I believe this is a trend that is poised to break through to more conservative clients.
I approach certified translations with the same rigor as I would a corporate client, whether it be for the police, court, children’s welfare agency, or a notary. That means creating a terminology base, researching relevant context online, and preparing just as for something like presenting a corporate balance sheet.
I do not view this type of assignment as a mere clerical or administrative task, but rather as one that demands a proactive approach, creativity, and a high level of professional expertise. I strive to make the collaboration easy, seamless and truly professional for any client.
